Official | Seidl turns his back on McLaren, successor already announced

McLaren has officially announced the departure of Andreas Seidl as team boss. The team has also already appointed a successor in the person of Andrea Stella. That challenge is with Alfa Romeo, it has since been revealed. Seidl is breaking with the Woking-based team with immediate effect and will be succeeded by Stella, who will be promoted from executive director to team boss.
