Red Bull and FIA talks over cost cap on hold

The discussions between Red Bull Racing and the FIA over the team's cost cap breach have been put on hold following the passing of team owner Dietrich Mateschitz on Saturday. Red Bull have been found to have breached the 2021 Formula 1 cost cap, the breach being a minor one, meaning it does not exceed 5% of the $145-Million budget. Red Bull have since insisted they are within budget, and the team has been in talks with the FIA, as Christian Horner met with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem in Austin on Friday.
