W Series season possibly stopped early due to financial problems
The W Series season appears to be coming to an early end. The Telegraph reports that there are financial problems for the series and the season may not be able to be finished. Article continues under ad The W Series was created in 2019 as a class exclusively for female drivers. In this way, the FIA wanted to give women more opportunities for a career in motorsport. The winner of the series received a hefty sum of money ($500,000), the corresponding licence points and, in 2022, the season will also feature during F1 race weekends.
