IndyCar Toronto report: Herta starts from pole

After a strong F1 test for McLaren earlier this week, Colton Herta has even more success. The young American started the race from pole position after a very fast qualifying lap. Herta just stayed ahead of Scott Dixon in the Fast Six session and takes his second pole position of the season. Rinus Veekay failed to make it past qualifying group two and will start 22nd on Sunday. 0 For the first time since 2019, the IndyCar is back on the streets of Toronto. In qualifying group one, it was Marcus Ericsson who performed handsomely. The Swedish driver set a time of 59.6875.
