Tsunoda issues 'huge' apology to Gasly after AlphaTauri incident

Article To news overview © XPB Yuki Tsunoda has apologised to teammate Pierre Gasly after colliding with the Frenchman during the British Grand Prix. Tsunoda attempted to pass Gasly at Village in the early stages of the race, but spun into his teammate, sending them both off the road and ultimately condemning Gasly to retirement. Tsunoda was issued a time penalty and finished the race last of the 14 classified runners. To add insult to injury for the Red Bull-owned team, it emerged that the debris that had lodged itself into Max Verstappen's floor and caused the Dutchman to lose performance had come from an AlphaTauri, likely caused by the contact between Tsunoda and Gasly.
