Zhou reacts to horror crash: "Halo saved me"
Guanyu Zhou had a horror crash at the start of the British Grand Prix. The Chinese driver made contact with George Russell down the Hamilton straight and spun around. His Alfa Romeo flipped over upside down and skidded across the gravel. Just before the tyre wall, Zhou's car lifted up and launched into the catch fence. Article continues under ad Scary crash Under red flag conditions, Formula 1 doctor Ian Roberts arrived on the scene and found it difficult to get Zhou out of the car. Eventually, they got him onto a stretcher and took him to the medical centre for an assessment.
