Starting grid for the 2022 F1 British Grand Prix
Article To news overview © XPB Carlos Sainz will start from pole position for the first time in his F1 career for Sunday's British Grand Prix. The Spaniard navigated the mixed weather conditions to secure P1, while championship leader Max Verstappen lines up alongside him on the front row. Sainz's Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc qualified in third, and Red Bull's Sergio Perez completes the top four. After displaying promise throughout the practice sessions, it was a slightly disappointing result for Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton starts the race from fifth, with George Russell back in eighth.
