Red Bull wary of resurgent Mercedes

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes that it will not be too long before Mercedes start involving themselves in the title fight in 2022. The Silver Arrows looked a lot better in Spain last weekend after a tumultuous last few weekends that were littered with inconsistency, a confusing lack of pace and the “porpoising” phenomenon that they have been battling with as a result of the ground effect aerodynamics. However, they found themselves in the top three in two of the three practice sessions in Barcelona with George Russell, while Sir Lewis Hamilton was third in FP2 just behind his team-mate.
