2022 F1 Spanish Grand Prix – Free Practice 1 results

Article To news overview Charles Leclerc has set the pace in the opening practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. The Ferrari driver put in the best time of the hour with a lap of 1:19.828, seven hundreths of a second clear of teammate Carlos Sainz in P2, with Max Verstappen taking third and George Russell fourth. Fernando Alonso split the Mercedes cars in fifth place, having gotten ahead of Lewis Hamilton in sixth.
