New contract puts Norris in top three of F1 wages
A new McLaren contract for Lando Norris is reported to have elevated him onto the ‘podium' of the three best-paid drivers on the Formula 1 grid. McLaren announced this week that the Briton had penned an extension to his deal that keeps him with the team through to the end of 2025. The Woking-based squad were clearly keen to get Norris tied down with them as he admitted to having had “little chats here and there” with rival constructors before pledging his future to McLaren. And those who enjoy seeing the 22-year-old driving the papaya-liveried car will be encouraged that team principal Andreas Seidl said there were “no get-outs” on either side in Norris’ contract – so...
