AlphaTauri to prepare for pre-season with extra F1 test

Article To news overview © Red Bull Contentpool AlphaTauri have arranged an extra track session for Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda to help them readjust to F1 machinery ahead of pre-season testing. A team spokesperson confirmed to RacingNews365.com that a private, three-day test will be held at the Imola circuit from 25-27 January, using the 2020-spec AT01 car. The upcoming 2022 cars, built to all-new technical regulations, cannot be used until pre-season testing, with the exception of a shakedown – during which running is restricted to 100 kilometres on demo Pirelli tyres.
