BBS confirmed as official F1 wheel rim supplier

Japanese wheel manufacturer BBS will supply wheels to all ten Formula One teams for the forthcoming 2022 F1 season as the sport faces a technical revolution in what will be the 73rd running of the Formula One World Championship. While Pirelli remain the official tyre partner and provider, BBS would partner and supply the rims to all Formula One teams from 2022 as part of a four-year deal. The 2022 season will see the introduction of totally new cars which is aimed at promoting overtaking. As part of the technical overhaul, Formula One will also move from 13 inches (33 cm) to 18 inches (46 cm) wheels in the coming season.
