3 injured after car crashes, catches fire on Australian GP circuit

Three people have been injured in a car crash on a street in Melbourne which makes up part of Albert Park – the street circuit that is used for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. The car was stolen and caught fire as a result of the crash, according to emerging reports. The crash and subsequent inferno occurred on Lakeside Drive, and the car has been identified as a Holden Astra.
