Wolff posts New Year message: ‘Onwards and upwards'

Toto Wolff says it is “onwards and upwards” in his New Year message for Mercedes – one that had no mention of Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes social media team clearly wanted to sign off 2021 with the final word from the boss, which arrived in the form of an 18-second video clip. Wearing a smart jacket and trademark white shirt – he could have been trying on his December 31st evening outfit, for that matter – Wolff reflected on a year in which Mercedes made it eight consecutive Constructors’ World Championship successes.
