Ferrari realistic: 'The gap is still big'

Ferrari has found a bright spot again after the disappointing year of 2020. During last season the Italian team developed the car so well that it finished third in the Constructors' Championship. In 2022 the team hopes to take new steps. With Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in their ranks Ferrari have two excellent drivers who should be able to fight for victory at future Grands Prix. It is still a long way from that though. Ferrari may have been better than McLaren this season but could not come close to the performance of Mercedes and Red Bull Racing.
