Perez helped Verstappen: "A second time would have probably gone wrong".

Sergio Perez proved on Saturday in Abu Dhabi that he can be there when Red Bull Racing need him. He perfectly provided a tow for his teammate, which secured pole for Max Verstappen. He is very happy with the way qualifying went for the team. "Fortunately it worked perfectly," said a glowing Perez to Ziggo Sport. "It's very difficult to time it, because if you get too close you can actually hinder him. If we had tried that a second time it would probably have gone wrong. I'm happy for Max and for the team."
