Gasly anticipating 'complicated' challenge in Jeddah
AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly is expecting to deal with a few "complicated" challenges next weekend at Formula 1's new Jeddah venue. Saudi Arabia makes its big entry this week into the history of Grand Prix racing, with a circuit being heralded as the fastest street track ever in F1. Jeddah will be unknown turf for all teams and drivers, but like his colleagues, Gasly has put in the hours in the simulator to learn as much as he can about the new layout. "Judging from what I saw on the simulator, Saudi will be extremely quick, with a large number of very high-speed corners, some of them blind," commented Gasly ahead of this weekend's premiere.
