Mercedes Boss Publicly Criticises Bottas For Giving Verstappen Space

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has publicly expressed his frustration with Valtteri Bottas for not closing down Max Verstappen on the run to the first corner in Mexico. The Finn qualified on pole for the 2021 Mexican Grand Prix, with Sir Lewis Hamilton alongside him and Max Verstappen in P3. However, the Dutchman benefitted from the tow on the run down to turn one and swept around the outside of both Bottas and Hamilton. He then controlled the entirety of the race and comfortably pulled away from Hamilton, who held off a charging Sergio Perez to finish in P2. #MexicanGP: Mercedes To Discuss Team Orders With Hamilton And #Bottas https://t.co/OKA4jYiQlz — Formula1News.co.uk...
