Mercedes had tough day: 'Best Hamilton could have achieved'
The start of the Mexican Grand Prix proved to be the crucial moment for Max Verstappen to take his ninth win of the season. Valtteri Bottas had only Lewis Hamilton in mind, allowing Verstappen to outsmart both Mercedes drivers. Verstappen took advantage of Hamilton "The start itself was good," Mercedes engineer Andrew Shovlin is still positive. "Maybe Lewis' was too good, because that prevented him from taking advantage of Valtteri's slipstream." After that, however, things quickly went wrong.
