Vettel ahead in race for F1's new Overtake Award
In addition to their sponsorship of sprint qualifying, Crypto.com have now put their name to a new award to recognise overtaking in Formula 1. The Crypto.com Overtake Award will go to the driver who completes the most overtaking manoeuvres throughout the 2021 season. At the halfway stage of the campaign, Sebastian Vettel is on course to collect the trophy up for grabs, with a leaderboard to be displayed at each of the remaining grands prix. The plan is for 12 more races to be held this year, although two gaps currently appear on the calendar. New broadcast graphics will be introduced live during each race to signal overtaking possibilities and potential moves, and to help fans keep track...
