Leclerc feels ‘duty' to bring Ferrari success

Charles Leclerc has described the 'incredible challenge' of being entrusted with the task of bringing lasting success back to Ferrari in the future. Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have largely excelled in their cars this season following Ferrari's worst Constructors' performance in 40 years, and the Monegasque driver feels a 'duty' to put the Scuderia back at the head of the Formula 1 field. As it stands, the two-time grand prix winner is three points behind team-mate Sainz at the halfway point of the season and Ferrari are level with McLaren in the Constructors' Championship in the battle for P3, behind Mercedes and Red Bull.
