Alpine's Budkowski: Alonso reminds me of Michael Schumacher
Article To news overview © Alpine Alpine Executive Director Marcin Budkowski has revealed he sees similar traits in Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. Budkowski worked with Ferrari during Schumacher's title-winning years in 2002-2004 and through to his first retirement in 2006. Having worked with Alonso for over eight months, Budkowski has been impressed with the Spaniard's approach. “I'm impressed, I’ve worked with a number of drivers through a bit more than 20 years in F1 and he’s extremely impressive,” Budkowski told RacingNews365.com and other select members of the press. “He’s impressive in his approach which is very, very professional.
