Ricciardo hoping McLaren find one more step
Article To news overview © McLaren Although Daniel Ricciardo believes McLaren found some pace after a difficult FP1 on Friday, the Australian knows the team have to step up their performance if they are to put in a strong showing in qualifying. Track temperatures were over 60 degrees Celsius, with several drivers and teams struggling in the warm conditions. Ricciardo could only muster the 13th fastest time in FP2, 0.4 seconds back of teammate Lando Norris, and he admits he didn't feel particularly comfortable in the car.
