How Aston Martin's new three-pronged F1 technical structure will work

Furbatto, whose F1 experience includes stints working for BAR, Toyota, McLaren, Toro Rosso, Manor, and Alfa Romeo, was appointed as Aston Martin’s new engineering director last week. Aston Martin also confirmed that current technical director Andrew Green will be promoted to the new role of chief technical officer. Ahead of this weekend’s Styrian Grand Prix, more details have emerged about how the department will be organised to create what Aston Martin says will be “a more focused technical management structure with greater strength in depth”.
