Honda hopeful: 'It's a very encouraging result'

Red Bull Racing could be satisfied with the results after the Grand Prix in France. The Austrians saw Max Verstappen finish first, while Sergio Pérez took third. Toyoharu Tanabe was therefore satisfied with what he saw on the French circuit. "A fantastic win for Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing Honda,"he stated on the Honda website. "With Sergio Perez third, we ended up with two drivers on the podium and this was also our third consecutive podium finish. Max dropped a place from pole after the start, but running a different strategy to Mercedes, combined with a strong car and PU performance saw him retake the lead at the very end of the race."
