Hamilton wants answers from Mercedes after dramatic strategy: 'Why?
Where Red Bull Racing had one of their strongest weekends so far this season, the Monaco Grand Prix was a weekend to forget for Mercedes. In qualifying, Lewis Hamilton was already disappointing with a seventh place, and in the race Valtteri Bottas crashed out from second position. With that, they lose the lead in both championships. Hamilton is therefore anything but satisfied after the Monaco GP. "It was a bad weekend. We failed collectively," Hamilton acknowledged to the NOS. According to Hamilton, Mercedes had problems with the Pirelli tyres during the race and this cost them a good classification.
