F1 signs new three-year Japanese GP deal with Suzuka
Ian Parkes Saturday 24 April 2021 04:00 F1 will continue with the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka through to 2024 following the signing of a new three-year contract with the race promoters. Suzuka has staged the last 11 races in Japan, and 31 times overall since 1987, and has been the scene for 11 title deciders during that period. Article continues under video F1's continued deal with promoters Mobilityland is being viewed as "part of the strategic and long-term commitment to grow the sport in Asia". Although Honda leaves F1 as power unit supplier to Red Bull and AlphaTauri at the end of this season, the sport's profile in Japan remains high thanks to the arrival of Yuki Tsunoda...
