AlphaTauri's next step is to ‘learn from mistakes'

AlphaTauri believe learning from mistakes will be another significant step in their climb up the Formula 1 ladder. The Italy-based team are aiming to eventually reach the same level as Red Bull, who are in the same ownership – by competing for victories on a regular basis. At present, AlphaTauri have only two race wins to their credit, ironically both at the Italian Grand Prix. The first was by Sebastian Vettel when they were known as Toro Rosso in 2008 and the second courtesy of Pierre Gasly last year. On their day in 2020, AlphaTauri were capable of fighting at the upper end of the midfield pack with the likes of McLaren, Racing Point, Renault and Ferrari. But that was not on a...
