Seidl not mournful about Sainz leaving: "We both benefitted"

After a two-year stint at McLaren, Carlos Sainz is moving to Ferrari next year. Team boss Andreas Seidl, looking back on his collaboration with the Mexican, has suggested that his former driver has everything he needs to become one of the top drivers in the sport.  In an interview at Marca.com, Seidl looks back on the start of the collaboration between Sainz and McLaren: “He came here after a very difficult time for the team, but he gave everything for us since the first test in Abu Dhabi two years ago, both on the track and off.” Read more Alonso to the podium in 2021? “Only with a Mercedes disaster” Win-win situation Seidl then indicated that the cooperation was...
