In photos: Grosjean escapes horrific Bahrain GP crash

Romain Grosjean walked away from a horrific crash on the opening lap of the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix. The Haas driver hit the barrier at Turn 3, with his car bursting into flames as it was torn in two. The survival cell and halo did a tremendous job of protecting the Frenchman, who went through the barrier and escaped the inferno under his own power. He has since been taken to hospital with burns and a suspected broken rib(s). Tags: BahrainGPF1Grosjean
