Channel 4 appoints Jacques as lead F1 commentator

Channel 4 has appointed Alex Jacques as its new lead Formula 1 commentator for the 2021 season. It was confirmed earlier this month that Ben Edwards, who has been with the channel since it took over the coverage from the BBC, will step down from the role at the end of 2020. Jacques has been the voice of Formula 1’s feeder series since 2015 and in more recent years has commentated on Formula 1 events for the championship’s in-house channel.
