Shocked Stroll speechless after bagging maiden F1 pole
Lance Stroll said he was “shocked” after bouncing back from a tough run of form to claim his first career pole position in Saturday’s rain-hit qualifying session for the Turkish Grand Prix. The Racing Point driver became the first Canadian to claim the front spot on the grid since Jacques Villeneuve in 1997 after a frantic finish which saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen fail to better his time.
