Williams team boss Roberts tests positive for COVID-19!
Williams acting team principal Simon Roberts has tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of this weekend's Turkey GP and will remain in isolation in the UK for 10 days. Roberts tested negative last Monday during the team's routine screening but subsequently developed minor symptoms that justified another test before travelling to Istanbul which returned a positive result. "Williams Racing can confirm that Acting Team Principal Simon Roberts has tested positive for COVID-19 prior to travelling to Istanbul for this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix," said the British team in a statement published late on Wednesday.
