Williams F1 duo encouraged by prudent new owners

Williams drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi say they have been encouraged that no sudden decisions have been taken since the Formula 1 team changed ownership earlier this year. US-based firm Dorilton Capital acquired the organisation in August and shortly afterwards the Williams family opted to relinquish its involvement. Dorilton installed Managing Director Simon Roberts as interim Team Principal in the wake of Claire Williams’ exit and senior figures made their first appearance at Mugello last month, staying out of the spotlight. “We are in contact weekly, and it is early days,” Russell said when asked by MotorsportWeek.com about the changes. “These things take a lot of...
