Unless we're very much mistaken, Murray is 97!
The legendary Murray Walker - seen here with James Hunt and Nigel Mansell - is well on his way to the century mark, and celebrating on this day his 97th birthday! The famous voice of Formula 1 no longer lives in the fast lane, but he still closely follows the action. Murray enjoyed a 23-year run as a full-time commentator for Grand Prix racing, distilling his authoritative and animated live commentary laced with many memorable "Murrayisms", such as "The car out in front is unique, except for the one behind it, which is identical..."
