Unwell Stroll absent from Eifel GP practice
Lance Stroll will not participate in final practice for Formula 1’s Eifel Grand Prix due to illness and could miss the remainder of the weekend’s action. Friday’s running was completely abandoned due to persistent wet and misty conditions that meant the medical helicopter was unable to fly. Stroll did not take to the circuit during the early stages of final practice and TV footage showed his car in the garage without any indication of a mechanical issue. Racing Point swiftly confirmed that Stroll is “not feeling 100 per cent this morning and will therefore not participate in FP3. “His condition will be assessed after the session to evaluate whether he is fit to drive, at which...
