Grid penalty for Latifi after gearbox change
Williams driver Nicholas Latifi has been given a five place grid penalty for the Russian Grand Prix after the team made a precautionary gearbox change. Latifi qualified 19th at the Sochi Autodrom but will drop behind Kimi Raikkonen once the penalty is applied. Article continues under video Although waiting for official confirmation of the penalty from the FIA, a Williams spokesperson said: "Following a data inspection post-qualifying we found a problem with Nicky's gearbox. We therefore informed the FIA and this will now be changed ahead of the race today."
