Le Mans Practice 3: Rebellion comes alive at night
Rebellion Racing showed Toyota that they don't have the LMP1 category all to themselves, with an impressive display in the all-important night practice on Thursday. With the four-hour session held in ideal conditions, the #3 Rebellion of Romain Dumas, Nathanaël Berton and Louis Delétraz managed to best the #7 Toyota of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López by nearly half a second in what will be the teams' only nighttime running ahead of the race on Saturday. In LMP2, Duqueine's #30 ORECA of Jonathan Hirschi, Konsantin Tereschenko and Tristan Gommendy led the way ahead of United's #32 ORECA driven by William Owen, Alex Brundle and Job van Uitert.
