Renault sees no problem with prohibited qualifying mode due to "rebalancing".

The qualification mode will be prohibited. This seems to be a big advantage for several Formula 1 teams. And maybe the engine will have to change drastically because of this loss. However, according to Renault's engine technical director Remi Taffin, the ban on qualifying mode won't be a big challenge for the teams. According to Taffin, the abolition of qualifying mode will be much bigger than it actually is: "It's the same job, only a different distribution. We have less power in qualifying and now more power in the race. So it's a new consideration.
