Silverstone makes track changes to prevent punctures

It was the spectacle the Grand Prix of Great Britain needed. Three cars that got a flat tire in the final phase of the Grand Prix. Unfortunately these punctures weren't caused by wear and tear, but are expected to be caused by damage to the tyre. The Silverstone circuit is taking measures to prevent that damage during the second Grand Prix at Silverstone. At the exit of Chapel there were a lot of drivers who shot just a little bit off the track. This caused a cloud of dust to form on the sand, which then reappeared on the track. A spokesman of Silverstone indicated that the circuit is making changes at the exit of Chapel to keep the drivers inside the track. Read more Pirelli declares...
