World Championship standings: Verstappen makes a big jump
The third Grand Prix weekend of 2020 has come to an end and that means we have a new position in the Formula 1 World Championship. Lewis Hamilton is the new leader in the World Championship after another victory in Hungary. Valtteri Bottas drops a place and one of the biggest climbers is Max Verstappen. After a crash in outlap on Sunday afternoon, the Dutch driver seemed to be able to forget his chances of a world title, but after excellent work by the Red Bull mechanics and a faultless race, the 22-year old Dutchman managed to finish in a neat second place.
