FIA places timing loops to enforce track limits in Austria

The FIA has replaced the additional kerbs located at the final two corners of the Red Bull Ring with timing loops to detect track limit breaches by drivers this weekend. Last year, the Austrian track's kerbs at Turn 9 and 10 were abused by a few drivers who suffered suspension damage. With spare parts in short supply, the timing loop will help limit damage while also discouraging drivers from exceeding track limits.
