Sky Italia extends deal through 2022 season
Sky Italia has confirmed that it has extended its contract to broadcast live Formula 1 grands prix in Italy through 2022. The company has shown Formula 1 in the country since 2013 and has been the exclusive rights holder for the past two years after free-to-air broadcaster Rai exited the scene. Sky Italia’s contract ran until the end of the current year but on Friday it confirmed a continuation for another two seasons.
