Red Bull runs RB16 at Silverstone filming day
Red Bull became the latest Formula 1 team to run its 2020 car ahead of next weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix as it carried out a filming day at Silverstone. Formula 1 teams are permitted two filming days per year in which current-spec cars can be used, albeit with running limited to 100km on promotional tyres. In recent weeks Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault opted to run their 2018 cars, allowing for unlimited track time, while Racing Point and AlphaTauri put their 2020 machines into action.
