Vettel: 'Mercedes' DAS system will not directly win races'
Mercedes introduced the DAS system during the winter test in Barcelona and there has been a lot of discussion about it. Officially it may be used this season, but when used Red Bull Racing will protest immediately. In later seasons the DAS-system will be banned again, so that creates a very cloudy picture. Making a difference In that sense, Ferrari didn't talk so much about the DAS system, also because they had other things on their minds. Including the discussion with the FIA about the legality of the engine in 2019. But with a view to the new season, Ferrari still has some work to do with the SF1000.
