Could F1 consider midweek races 'like the Champions League'?
Dutch Grand Prix boss Jan Lammers suggests that Formula 1 considers midweek races, 'just like the Champions League'. Lammers has proposed that Formula 1 follow the example of football by holding midweek events rather than sticking rigidly to competing at weekends.
