Carey issues apology to fans in open letter

Formula 1 CEO, Chase Carey, has provided an update and an apology to fans as the coronavirus pandemic has effectively put all major sport on hold. The governing bodies have pencilled in the end of May as a potential new start date for the 2020 Formula 1 season, but that is on the assumption that the situation around the globe improves by then. With Australia cancelled and Bahrain, China and Vietnam all postponed, Carey has apologised in an open letter for the inconvenience that has caused.
