FIA investigation clears all drivers of blame over Hubert crash

The official FIA investigation into the crash that killed Anthoine Hubert has concluded that the drivers were not to blame. The FIA has released its initial findings into the crash at Spa-Francorchamps last August that claimed the life of young Frenchman Anthoine Hubert. The findings say that the crash was down to a ‘chain of events' that resulted in a ‘protracted and complex crash sequence' involving Hubert, Juan Manuel Correa, Giuliano Alesi and Ralph Boschung. The dynamics of the car's impact was such that an ‘extremely high level of energy was transferred and dissipated, translating into non-survivable trauma to Anthoine Hubert and very serious injuries to Juan Manuel...
