Liberty Media refuse to give GP assurances to Sao Paulo

Liberty Media chief Chase Carey admits that talks are ongoing between Formula 1 and Brazilian Grand Prix organisers in Sao Paulo for a new deal to host the race going forward, but didn’t give assurances as there are other locations interested too. Over the years, the Brazilian GP has switched locations back and forth from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, but since 1990 the former has enjoyed hosting duties through their Interlagos circuit.
