Hulkenberg dismisses BMW move as ‘fake news'

Nico Hulkenberg has taken to Twitter to rubbish reports of him signing a deal with BMW to become one of their 2020 drivers. According to the Italian edition of Motorsport.com, Hulkenberg was said to be heading to the German touring car championship, signing a deal with BMW, as Alfa Romeo has opted to retain Antonio Giovinazzi for next season. But Hulkenberg spotted German website Motorsport-Total.com running the same story and responded on Monday morning. 'Thanks to @MST_Formel1 for the update on my future,' he wrote.
